About Us | Her Future in STEM

Her Future in STEM (HFiS) is an educational initiative founded by Victoria Johnson to support, uplift, and celebrate women pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.

What began as the Victoria Johnson Minority Women in STEM Scholarship has evolved into a growing cause centered on encouragement, access, and opportunity. Her Future in STEM exists to provide motivation, practical resources, and transparent conversations for women navigating STEM pathways.

Through community-driven support, curated tools, and culturally relevant representation, we aim to make the path into STEM more visible, more attainable, and more empowering.

As our reach continues to expand, so does our vision. Her Future in STEM is building toward becoming a leading nonprofit foundation focused on mentorship, financial support, and long-term community engagement for the next generation of women in STEM.

Meet Our Founder

Victoria Johnson MSc, BSc

Hi, I'm Victoria! My mission is to empower, elevate, and expand opportunity for minority students pursuing STEM by intentionally bridging access, visibility, and support. Drawing from my multidisciplinary journey—spanning chemistry, microbiology, engineering, financial advising, and my pursuit of becoming a physician—I bring a unique and holistic lens to the barrier facing underrepresented students in STEM.

I understand firsthand how academic rigor, financial strain, and limited representation can discourage talented students from continuing their path. Through Her Future in STEM, I am committed to removing these obstacles by providing financial assistance, mentorship, and educational resources.
